NESTEX AG specialises in direct investment and acquisitions for individual private equity investors who want to invest into the diverse opportunities available in the service sectors of Emerging Markets.
As a direct investment specialist, we cover Emerging Markets that are of specific interest for our shareholders. Our advisory team is based in Switzerland with additional research provided through advisory partners in the markets we target.
We act as lead investors in mid-cap companies and groups, and work closely with financial investment funds, and strategic investors in the mid-cap and large-cap arena who regularly seek to acquire portfolios of companies in the service sector from us.
We also work very closely with premier private equity houses on their global and regional acquisition strategies in the markets that we cover.
With an increasing range of opportunities being offered in Emerging Markets, the NESTEX AG advisory team is comprised of highly experienced investment professionals with extensive backgrounds in developing economies. As governments step up the process of privatisation and liberalisation, so the number of companies and countries accessible for investments increase.
Our research efforts are assisted by maintaining a local presence in certain areas where information is less easily accessible. Whilst the portfolio management decisions are made from the centralised office in Switzerland, our team is continuously gathering research on investment opportunities through our network of regional advisors.
We have no formal plans to alter our existing structure of offices although additions are continuously under consideration. If this happens, we will give emphasis to countries where the flow of information is such that, without local representation, we feel it would be difficult to make informed and independent judgements.
Research is undertaken by all of our advisory team – proven and highly experienced professionals with excellent analytical skills and language capabilities. We are committed to an extensive travel programme for our employees to gather the most comprehensive – and key – information on companies and markets. Frequent company visits are at the core of our investment process.
